Danny Torres, Founder and Technical Director. Danny is a forestry engineer with 20 years of experience in carbon project development and certification. He started in Colombia as Director of an AR-CDM project for Grupo Argos, later spending nearly a decade at ONF International (France), contributing to forest and climate initiatives in over 18 countries. In 2020, he joined Livelihoods Venture as Senior Carbon and Project Coordinator, becoming Head of Climate Impact in 2021 to lead climate strategy and ensure environmental integrity.
In 2022, leveraging his global expertise, Danny founded Saltus, assembling a specialized team skilled in designing and certifying carbon projects, advanced monitoring techniques, and carbon market finance.
